The Pamlico Writers Group is taken to Lunch
The PWG feasted a banquet of food and words as the gathered at the Golden Corral in Washington NC. Many from other writers groups attended the luncheon to savor good food, fellowship, and words of wisdom from the host speaker Hanna Meredith. A Five Star Award
Angela Beach Silverthorne, received a Five Star Award from the Readers Favorites, for her book Cries of Innocence. She was given two five star reviews and one four star.
This prestigious seal is presented by Readers Favorites, a book review company that recognizes authors for their outstanding work.
Carteret Here We Come!
Jim Keen, from the Pamlico Writers Group decided to take the plunge and head on over to the Carteret Writers Group for one of their workshops. The speaker, Krisan Murphy deliberated on, The Dual Muse of Writing: Solitude and Synergy.
The four hour workshop hosted twenty-nine people, eight of which were public guests, and thee becoming new members to the Carteret Writers Group. Jim boasted of having a wonderful time, fun, and even tried his hand at writing a picture prompt which he read at the last PWG group meeting. It wasn't bad for an old sea-dog.
